{"id":345,"date":"2009-10-24T04:13:45","date_gmt":"2009-10-24T12:13:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thezeal.com\/cooking\/?p=345"},"modified":"2009-10-24T04:13:45","modified_gmt":"2009-10-24T12:13:45","slug":"potato-peas-fry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kaizen.ist\/cooking\/potato-peas-fry\/","title":{"rendered":"Potato Peas Fry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Potatoes &#8211; 4 medium<\/li>\n<li>Dry peas &#8211; 1\/2 cup<\/li>\n<li>Onions &#8211; 1 medium (diced)<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder &#8211; 1\/4 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Chilli powder &#8211; 1 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Coriander powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Ginger-garlic paste &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Oil &#8211; 3 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Salt &#8211; to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nSoak the peas for about 5 hours. Pressure cook the peas and potatoes together. Peel the skin off the potatoes, and cut into medium sized pieces.<\/p>\n<p>In a pan, heat oil and then add the onions, saute till golden brown. Then add the ginger garlic paste and fry well. Then, add in the turmeric, chilli coriander powders and fry adding a little water.
