{"id":195,"date":"2009-10-21T21:27:27","date_gmt":"2009-10-22T05:27:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thezeal.com\/cooking\/?p=195"},"modified":"2009-10-21T21:27:27","modified_gmt":"2009-10-22T05:27:27","slug":"sura-meen-puttu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kaizen.ist\/cooking\/sura-meen-puttu\/","title":{"rendered":"Sura Meen Puttu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shark Fish &#8211; 1 lb<\/li>\n<li>Onions &#8211; 1 big (finely chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Green Chillies &#8211; 2 big (finely chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Garlic cloves &#8211; 4 finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>Fresh coriander leaves &#8211; 2 tbsp finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Chilli powder &#8211; 1\/4 tsp (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Ginger garlic paste &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Salt &#8211; to taste<\/li>\n<li>Oil &#8211; 4 tbsps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nBlanch\/cook the Shark pieces in water. Drain the water and strain the water out of the pieces and pat dry.<br \/>\nIn a bowl, shred them into tiny pieces. To this, add turmeric, chilli powder, onions, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, salt and mix well.<\/p>\n<p>Heat oil in a pan, and add the chopped garlic, fry for 1\/2 min and then add the mixed up contents of the bowl and fry till the raw smell of the shark disappears and oil starts to come out at the sides. Mix in chopped coriander leaves and serve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miscellaneous:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tips: Serve hot with rice. You can actually make this puttu with any other fishes other than shark also (choose ones that don&#8217;t have small bones &#8211; use any fillets from Tilapia, King Fish or Salmon also).<\/li>\n<li>Serves 4-5<\/li>\n<li>Cooking Time: 20 min<\/li>\n<li>Cuisine: Indian<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients: Shark Fish &#8211;
