{"id":139,"date":"2009-10-21T16:43:51","date_gmt":"2009-10-22T00:43:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thezeal.com\/cooking\/?p=139"},"modified":"2009-10-21T17:52:32","modified_gmt":"2009-10-22T01:52:32","slug":"keema-fry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kaizen.ist\/cooking\/keema-fry\/","title":{"rendered":"Keema Fry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mutton (minced) \/ Kheema &#8211; 1.5 lb cut into medium sized pieces<\/li>\n<li>Onions &#8211; 2 big (chopped finely)<\/li>\n<li>Tomatoes &#8211; 1 big (chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Green Chillies &#8211; 2 slit lengthwise<\/li>\n<li>Ginger &#8211; 1\/2 inch chopped<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Chilli powder &#8211; 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Coriander powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Cumin seed powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Garam masala items &#8211; 1 tsp (saunf &#8211; 1\/2 tsp, cloves &#8211; 1, cinnamon stick &#8211; 1, bay leaf &#8211; 1)<\/li>\n<li>Salt &#8211; to taste<\/li>\n<li>Oil<\/li>\n<li>Coriander leaves(Cilantro).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pressure cook the kheema with the onions, tomatoes, green chillies, chilli, coriander, cumin, turmeric powders and salt.<\/p>\n<p>In a pan, heat oil and add the garam masala items and then the pressure cooked contents. Fry until all the water drains out and the oil comes out on top. Add the coriander leaves for garnish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miscellaneous:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tips: Serve with rice.
